Ayer

Todos los poetas excelsos
se reían de mi escritura
a causa de la puntuación,
mientras yo me golpeaba el pecho
confesando puntos y comas,
exclamaciones y dos puntos,
es decir, incestos y crímenes
que sepultaban mis palabras
en una Edad Media especial
de catedrales provincianas.

Todos los que nerudearon
comenzaron a vallejarse:
y antes del gallo que cantó
se fueron con Perse y con Eliot
y murieron en su piscina.

Mientras tanto yo me enredaba
con mi calendario ancestral
más anticuado cada día
sin descubrir sino una flor
